AJ Davidsen is a talented brass and piano teacher at Dunkley School of Music in Meridian, Idaho. He teaches French horn, piano, trombone, and trumpet, bringing a versatile and student-focused approach to every lesson.
With degrees in both education and performance, AJ Davidsen combines musical expertise with a passion for helping students grow.
AJ earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with an emphasis in jazz piano from Brigham Young University–Idaho. He later completed a Master’s degree in Piano Performance at Boise State University, where he studied with the respected pianist Dr. Del Parkinson.
His dual focus in both jazz and classical training gives him a wide range of skills that benefit students across musical styles and instruments.
Outside of his private teaching, AJ is the founder of Allegro Jams, a program designed to support homeschoolers and students in schools without full music programs. His initiative helps students participate in band, choir, and orchestra, even when those options aren’t available through traditional schools.
Through Allegro Jams, AJ has created more inclusive opportunities for music education throughout the community.
